Tenemos que pensar en lo que es lo que necesitaremos en caso de que nos quedemos atascados o nos encontremos con cualquier otro problema y tengamos todos los accesorios en nuestra salida 4×4

Luz de trabajo
Salir de un problema en la ruta puede llevar mucho tiempo y puede que se te haga de noche, o simplemente la zona donde necesites acceder o reparar esté oscura. Una luz de trabajo robusta te permitirá ver lo que estás haciendo mientras realizas una recuperación, reparación o cualquier otra tarea.
Una luz de trabajo LED con imanes y ganchos puede ser una buena idea ya que facilita la colocación su uso sin usar las manos, ya sea por que estés trabajando fuera del 4×4 o debajo de él. Te recomendamos que busques una luz de trabajo que tenga una buena autonomía, una buena iluminación (evidente) y que se pueda cargar el el propio todoterreno además de en casa.
Kit Pinchazos
Los neumáticos no sólo son el componente más importante de tu 4×4, sino que también son los que con más frecuencia salen mal parados. Todos deberíamos de llevar un kit completo de reparación de pinchazos en el coche, independientemente del uso que le demos a nuestro coche.
Arrancador de coches
Ya no es necesario depender de otro coche para que te ayude a arrancar en caso de quedarte sin batería. Una batería de iones de litio sencilla, asequible y de gran capacidad te servirá y te dará más seguridad. Lo mejor es que se carga el mechero del coche y tiene tomas USB para el teléfono y otros aparatos. Lo único que tienes que tener cuidado es de mantenerlo cargado, no lo dejes en el maletero durante un año sin cargar ya que cuando lo vayas a usar no estará disponible. Todo el mundo debería llevar uno de estos.
Herramientas de Mano
No se necesita nada sofisticado, sólo una selección completa de herramientas comunes. Incluso si no tienes intención de trabajar en tu coche durante un viaje, las vibraciones y los golpes pueden hacer que las cosas se suelten fácilmente. Contar con un estuche de herramientas te permitirá abordar los problemas a medida que surjan.
